Hey everyone, as some of you have noticed I’ve been having another eBay sell-off. It’s still ongoing, but I thought I should stick a post up here to alert people who may be interested as some things are ending in 4 days or so.

I’m an unfunded postgrad who’s money ran out a while ago and literally the only source of income I have to eat, live and pay my bills till September (the earliest I can get a job) is selling off models I’m going to be homeless soon and plan to live in a tent and try to live as cheaply as possible but I still have big bills to pay for my course and things.

I’ll also be posting up a list of models in the trade section on the forum here as well, once I’ve finished sorted through everything (it’s taking frikking ages!).

sucks to hear about your plight Glyn, I've always thought that the last unfunded year of British PhDs was seriously wrong. Luckily I had my wife's relatively meager salary and some savings to live off when I did mine, but it wasn't fun.

Thanks guys! I’ve been up all night again sorting through stuff and have just listed another 50 or so listings, though I’m probably not even half way yet. I’ve updated and expanded the list above, with new items in red.


Ah it’s actually a second masters in a completely different subject (agroforestry) rather than a PhD, but either way no income of any kind for a year is a killer. The last of the inheritance didn't last as long as I'd hoped and the course has been too busy to be able a part-time job like I'd sort of planned on. I’m getting bored of having porridge and beans of toast every day

A couple of people pointed out to me messed up listings where the description and title didn’t match. If you spot anything that’s obviously wrong please let me know!

On a side note, what can you do with an agroforestry masters?

Begrudged congratulations to whomever won the grey knights land raiders and dreadnoughts :S

Some chap in America for most of them. I'm a little disappointed that the Land Raiders went for an average of only a little over £13 each, whereas Steve54 recently sold one for £30 (think it's my fault for putting so many on at once and having the auctions ending around 1am, ah well). Overall it's looking good so far though.

Shame you missed out of the LRs/Dreads Fattdex! I'm surprised you went for the metal Land Raiders instead? I'm glad to see some things stay within the community

Sorry to everyone who's messaged and I've not got back to yet by the way! I see what you mean; at least the Strike Cruiser and Storm Serpent. I notice Gothic, Warmaster and actual Epic Armageddon era models always sell extremely well on there.

I posted a message up on the collecting citadel minatures yahoo group listing a bunch of the rarer stuff and mentioning the dire financial straights, so some people may be bidding a little more than normal to help possibly. I hope it's not people not reading the listing and mistaking epic models for W40k ones though; I've had that recently with a chap from Canada and 5 Devilfish, which are now apparently winging their way back to me.

Most of the Exodites and the Psi-Titan are up now if anyone looked for them a while ago and couldn't find them. Some newer again updates to the list in the first post - these ones in green.

Yeah, I bid on the PsiTitan already, but it is getting up to a point where I might not be able to bid again. I have a healthy fear of my wife
