I can see some ork players pulling their hair out due to that sentence. They are so hard to find these days... :D

Here's the newest installment of the Wolves... more Long Fangs.

And here's my WIP supreme commander unit... Ragnar Blackmane and Wolf guard(power armoured obviously).
He's a slightly altered version of the mini I converted back in the 90's (original shown on the first page).
Added a new chainsword, a wolfhead shoulderpad, a bit more pelt and gave him a better paint job. Added a wolfhead to the standard's top and a wolfpelt to the standard bearer's back too (forgot to take a pic of that but it's still just GS atm).

Mate,

Awesome conversion work, how is the army tracking now. I would love to see a group shot of where you are at. Very inspirational stuff.

Cheers

It's all over the place unfortunately :D Apart from what I've painted so far it's all still in WIP.

Mate,

No good at all, I dont have the time anymore for painting, its a bumber and my eyes dont let me paint detail that well. hence I have been fortunate enough to meet some excellent fellos here who do great painting and subcontract it all. I keep terrain for maintaining skills. Hope you get back to it soon.

Cheers
Aaron

LOL! I've never been off it really ... just going very slowly. ATM I'm just painting all the individual unit types to put in Nemesis with the unit data sheets (23 units left IIRC). Also painting 4 levels of colour/shade and then detailing on the minis is a bit time consuming as you can imagine :D

Matt,

I think seeing some of the individual units would be excellent, I am sure others will agree, that alot of inspiration comes from what we see here. Certaininly blogging your technique will help some others. I am as mad as you when I paint infantry it is as individuals. Undercoat, base colour, highlight colour and then detailing. I think glasses are in order these days though. You stuff is brilliant and I would love to see more.

Cheers
Aaron

Ok just to prove I'm not slacking (well too much) here are some almost-dones :)
These are all the vehicles I have "done" so far.

And here's the latest 3 I've been working on tonight

And a bit of putty work on a Wolf Guard - err, you've probably noticed by now that this TOEG jumps all over the place :D

Are those vehicles drybrushed, or is it true fine edge highlighting? Amazing work, I can't believe you work up from Fenris Grey as a basecoat!
