It is a grey paint: On this model it is P3 Greatcoat Grey, (a some bluish grey). At present I have shifted to P3 Ironhull Grey as my main "metal"-colour, (the way I paint, the Greatcoat Grey had a tendency to break up to easily into its components.

And some more revamped miniatures, (painted eight years ago). The vehicles have had their metalpaint replaced with grey and been giving sharper highlights on the black.
