I was looking at the Stormraven, trying to figure out which version I preferred. I like them both, actually - what do you think? If they ever came out with an Epic version, and you had a choice, which one would you rather have in your collection?

I prefer the conversions that my friend Xeones is doing with his. Here's the photoshop mockup he did.

I think you should stay true to the original one. That way people can then convert it to the MajorTom version (or any other for that matter).

Converting a MajorTom back to the original style would be much harder.

I'd make the GW one but with some bits able to be left off (and having detail under where they fit) so that people can make it in different ways should they choose.

The GW one is abomination. MajorTom and Xenos are acceptable.

there is no way i would buy one of major toms style. the tail is important.
i'd probably buy some of the proper design and then remove the turret myself, but if such an option was to be included as default, all the better

The Major Tom version doesn't seem to have room for a dreadnought.

Take a look at the linked thread. It carries it inside the rear fuselage.

I'd say GW with weapon options!
Even so I would be tempted to convert it :P

Haha- the GW one doesn't seem to have space for a dreadnought, let alone a squad of Marines AND two special characters! I guess they're holding onto the sides and hanging on like Grot riggers.

Always being "the voice of reason(!?!?!)" ::) ... either ... the turret should be optional ... I'm easy ... ;)
