Moving on from summoning cores, I'm working on a large-scale Epic Necron structure, using a cheap vacuum formed "redoubt" from Amera Plastic Mouldings:

The original piece is a 28mm scale defensive wall, so I cut out a square of plasticard and placed it on top of some balsa wood supports that I glued to the inside of the walls.

The roof is a bit featureless, so a while back I started making a huge great obelisk to sit on top, but I think it might be a little over-the-top:

What do you think?

That thing is scary huge, but would look awesome on a themed tombworld table.

You've read my mind Jodrell! :)

I'll be putting something similar to this together soon for our upcoming campaign. I've planned to Tomb world theme for one of our boards.

Looking forward to seeing this continue.

Nah, it looks great that size. Add some cracks and such to age it up.

Cool, I like it. Definitely something a race of crazies would build for their power-hungry stargod.

What is it, the Z230 Redoubt with plasticard over the huge rivets?

That's right. I chopped and sanded off the rivets then glued pieces of plasticard over where they had been. Nice place to put transfers.

Not a bad item for only £4!

The Buildings look awesome, really like the nice clean paintwork and sign writing on the buildings aswell, Gravel floor colour scheme works well with the terrain aswell ;)
