I was sure it was called the "Thunk"? As in Thunderhawk, seeing as it's a thunderhawk with the middle removed.

Oh an di had alok of how the Dreadnpought canbe transported.
Under the tail it had a single "grapple" like the two circular things on the Blood Angels Dreadnought which represent the Magna Grapple. And a winch.
Would be a rather "dangling" ride for a Dreadnought :D

I bought one today in order to get some true-life measurements. I mean, Mk I Thunderbricks won't cut it, right? ;)

I actually hated the model until I saw the Grey Knights version. Whatever angle GW was photographing the BA version at was terrible.

I don't hate the model, only the fact that they decided to put that turret and the air intake on top of it. It makes the model much too vertical for something that is supposed to fly.

The angle-ness and thunderhawk - likeness I can live with, I've had years to accept the fact that space marines have the technology to use flying bricks.

I'd be interested to see "topless" Stormravens.

One of the guys over on Dakka, MajorTom, has done a Photoshop mockup of a topless Stormraven. It actually got me thinking about the model again, as I think it looks pretty good without the bubble turret and the vertical stabilizer.

That being said, I do like the views of the model pertaining to the Grey Knights. Guess I'll see when I actually get the model in my hands (come on Warstore - hurry up!!)

Indeed, i like this render. I originally didn't think of removing the tail, but it definitely looks much nicer in that pic.

It would be cool to use one to build a homage to the Mk1 Thunderbrick.

It does look a lot better cropped though admittedly.

Well larger than I was thinking, but not having a model to base it on other than photos, its a bit hard trying to guess the length.
