Woohoo.... There are now 1000 images on my nascent little blog. Onward to to the 10,000 mark :)

Here are the fruits of February's labour:

I also finished the Tzeentch altar but my first photo didn't work out (it's glossy). I will reshoot and post it later.

Reposted Feb summary from my blog:

Well, February was the month of “almost done”. I started off relatively strong with the last Iron Warrior models and then everything fell apart.

I almost finished:

Tzeentch flyers (but ran out of Asuremen Blue wash)
Slaneesh Knights/Titants (but ran out of Leviathan Purple Wash)
Khorne Transports (but ran out … no wait, I just ran out of time with these… finished the conversion and basecoat though)

I did get something done though. A somewhat disappointing 1600 points, but still better than nothing:

Iron Warriors:
2 Hell Talons – 300 points
1 Iron Cult Objective

Slaneesh:
1 Slaneesh Altar – 150 points

Tzeentch (pics to follow in the next few days – these were a “weekend sprint”):
24 Cultists with command (2 covens) - 400 points
4 Traitor Fire Support - 100 points
1 Altar of Chaos – 150 points
4 Traitor Sentinels – 100 points
4 Silver Towers - 325 points

Oh, and I finished lots and lots of terrain bitz so that I can finally finish up some of the Mordheim buildings.

Very cool. Love the sentinel conversions. How do you keep your silver towers from bending that thin wire?

The wire is actually stainless steel rod. You need heavy duty cutters to cut it (or bend it). It can hold pretty heavy stuff. As it happens, here is another just finished model on a wire:

I can't claim credit for the Sentinel idea. I saw this conversion somewhere at some point. Don't know the creator though.

My ToEG efforts have run into supply chain difficulties. I simultaneously ran out of Levithian Purple (to finish the Slaneesh Knights & Vehicles), Asurmen Blue (to finish the Tzeentch flyers) and now Devlan Mud (to finish just about everything else). Maelstrom Games' delivery is uncharacteristically late so I am unable to finish any of the remaining Chaos models on my desk. I did finish some Khorne transports for the mutant covens though:

I second the question of bits. Did you cut up GHQ 2 1/2 Ton trucks for those?

Thanks for the kind words.

Apoc: The parts are the old Ork Battlewagon for the chassis and some GHQ modern trucks (different types). I cut off the bump on the Battlewagon (the thing next to the gun) and shaved the back flat. The cab is from various modern GHQ trucks where I simply sheared off the front engine block with pliers. The pieces on the back are straight from the GHQ pack as well. I can't give you part numbers. I got 100 or so GHQ trucks and tanks in a bulk purchase on ebay a few years ago (something like a pound of GHQ stuff for $10 - I really just wanted two of the vehicles for conversions back then...).

I skimmed through the GHQ catalogue and I think those were the models:
http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/n86.html
http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/w47.html
http://www.ghqmodels.com/store/w29.html

I couldn't find the tanker and command vehicle pieces but I am sure they are from the same series (GHQ modern).

Contact me if you want some of these bits. I destroyed most of my "truck" stock but might still have some complete trucks in the GHQ bag. Plenty of tanks, infantry, jeeps and such too.
