Sad to see the majority of us TacCommers being denied access to miniatures from our worldwide community because of the actions of a few :(

Hmm, not sure but I think I've spotted ANOTHER of his ebay's accounts. This time its a buyers only account, so can only see an obscured ID. The only information I have is:

i***c ( private )

Everytime this individual wins an auction, it gets relisted on one of the above stores (Huntik, Kaibakids, markfieldminatures (sic)).

"i***c ( private )" recently won auctions include four blisters of 2nd edition daemons which were relisted separately a few days later on markfield at a huge markup. He also won a cheap resin gargant which is now re-listed on kaibakids.

Agreed, either dodgy or stupid.

Be wary of magitechind. I sold him some kroot hounds and he is now claiming the package arrived intact but empty.

I have also recently been a victim of shill bidding. An item was listed at £1, I bid. Another bidder came in and made small increment bids until I was outbid. Then, in the last 30 seconds, they cancelled their highest bid and I won with my highest. I left negative feedback, which the seller didnt like, and informed eBay. The trouble is that holding multiple accounts is allowed. Also, if you report a suspected case of shill bidding, eBay will just check the IP. If the person uses two seperate machines, or a PC and a mobile phone, then eBay wont do anything - partly because they really dont care, partly because they cant prove much, and partly because shill bidding actually benefits them (higher final price means a higher commision to eBay). I am still emailing eBay about this, as the shill account had 100% recent bidding history with the one seller, had a feedback of 7, 3 of which were from that seller, had cancelled 20 bids in the last 6 months and had rarely won anything at all.

Bottom line, eBay dont care.

I know this is a gravedig, but I would like to say that this behavior (which I was subjected to once) is precisely why I use a sniping program to do all my eBay bidding for me. It's hard to be pushed over your max bid if you haven't even bid upon the item.
