If he produced them in metal, he could be arrested for selling unlicensed lethal weapons. :P

Just finished the first Lesser Behemoth, I washed the base on this one too soon and so some of the material flaked off, the other ones should turn out better:

I've had good luck glueing 6mm metals down with Elmer's Carpenter's wood glue: use a paint brush to slop it on to the base, stick the minis down, then shower the base and minis with flocking before the glue dries.

Let set 5-10 minute, blow off excess flock, spray with water, let dry.

I cannot figure for the life of me why you'd spray the stands with water after flocking. Is this to clear the flock off the models themselves? Im about to do 40 stands of IG onto bases made by Shogun Miniatures, so the timing of this tip was excellent...

**although as I contemplate it, it seems like it would receive sand in this format, but not flock, because you'd still have to prime the models which would, of course, color the flock!**

As to the fantasy models above, I saw a copy of "Rally Round the King" at the FLGS (its by Two Hour Wargames, right, or am I thinking of something else?) but hadnt considered it an option for 6mm fantasy miniatures...

NB. Shogun's bases aren't going to hold to elmer's terribly well, I don't think, not porous enough, or at least so Shogun warns in his 'how to' guides. Try a test run... then try sanding the top of the shogun base for a second test run. As to the water afterwards, it's a model railroader's trick that Dave passed along. The PVA glue is water soluble. While it's still wet, it will get 'sucked' into water applied above it... meaning that some of it will end up drying on top of your flock, which means that far less of the flock will 'liberate' itself as time goes on.

Managed to finish up 216 little goblin warriors. I also finished basing everything except the Brutes. Next up, Armored Behemoths. I still have a lot of work to do on the orcs, but I think I will switch gears soon and do some wood elves, as I need something for the orcs to fight anyway!

I basically finished the orcs for now, as I want to do some opponents for them so I can get some games in. There is still a lot to do on them though: Boar Riders, Cyclops, Gobbo spears, command figures. After that I still need to get the orc archers and gobbo wolf riders molded and cast. I'm currently working on a bunch of wood elf archers that I hope to finish next week.

:-). 6mm is much easier to conceal than 28mm.

Finally got around to finishing the Wood Elf archers. I finished about 192 of them. Started on the Centaur Nobles for something more fun after all those archers. Their arrows shall blot out the sun:
