Hi Zog,

I was one of the Dutch players in Belgium, with the imperial guard army. You've got some nice photo's there. I'll try and get some of mine up as well (didn't got around to taking that much, 'cause I was to busy drinking the cheap Belgium beer.)

Anyway, It was very nice to meet you, even if we didn't get a chance to play. I'm sure in the future it will happen..

For the rest of the taccoms - I'm spawn, I come from Holland and I've been playing Epic for 20 years now. I have a guard, eldar, atml and space marine army.
The IWC was my first epic tourney and I somehow managed to get 2nd place (with lots of bribes in brown bottles). I really don't know how that happened, but I'm sure none of my opponents will ever look at sentinels the same again.

Cheers,

Spawn

Hi there Kai!

Good to see you on these forums.
That way we can keep in touch.

Should you have any doubts, I'm te guy that came in last, and to whom you gave your AMTL-armylist ;D

Me too, I hope to confront your IG (or any other of your armies) on the tabletops in the future.

In the meantime, I have already assembled my first unit of Sentinels :D

Thanks Quase,

I do hope the ATML list will get you better results next time.
I've retired my guard for the moment (on some well earned R&R). I'll be running a Biel-tan list for the coming months. I completely obliterated a space marine army tonight (3-0). "suffer the Alien"!

I hope to get some pics of my armies up somewhere the weekend

Well, if I want good results, I think a first obligation is to stick to what I know best (Orks).
This tournie were the first games I played using Space Marines, and I forgot quite the number of important things about them (like e.g. Devastators having 2 shots each :-[ )

Also, I layed my Space Marines like I play my Orks, which can't be a good idea LOL

Can't wait to see those pictures!

*edit*
Oh, and by the way, if you think your french is up-to-par, Here you can read the impressions of the Walloons and Frenchmen on their french Epic-dedicated site :D

Yeah,
Playing reckless with space marines usually won't pay off.
But I would love to see your greenskins in action. If they are painted to the same standard as your marines, they must look beautiful.

The French board through google gibberish results in .... well ....gibberish. But I could make some sense of it. Nice to see all the familiar faces and their accounts. I posted my account and some photos in the battreps section.

Cheers.

Hi all!

Nice pics Zog! Had a great time at my first Epic tournament (even if I was so tired I didn't really comprehend the prize ceremony haha)

Hi Quase! Speaking about Sentinels I'm painting five units of plastic ones haha

Hia Engmir!

About that ceremony, it's an IWC tradition that everyone walks home with at least one price.

The higher you ranked, the quicker you can choose.
And they always favour painting points over gaming pointsm
That's why the painting prizes are given first...
