FYI, the main colors are bestial brown and desert yellow for the camo and
tin bitz for the metal part. Then a gryphonne sepa (or whatever its called ) wash followed by a boltgun metal drybrush. Its really simple and quite effective for 6mm.

Hope to finish the last vulture in the next fews days so stay tuned.

So, finally the vulture squad is finished! I really had no idea for a noseart on this one so I just painted what came to mind and so he got an extra life.



It also was the first of the skimmers/flyers that I tried magnetised to the base but I am not sure if Ill do it with the others as well.

This also was a negative example for Forgeworld stuff for me. The lasguns are just to fragile for resin. Definetly prefer the Valkyres qualitywise.

Just a WIP update but an update none the less.

Really liked the look of the support weapon team but they are way to expensive for their crappy quality so I decided to make them myself with plastic card, autocannons from ebay (for 4 pounds) and some greenstuff. (those sandbags took all my sculpting skills as I really suck when it comes to modelling)

Heres the first test piece, compared to an original GW mini:



and paintwise the factory painting of the next infantry company has progressed nicely, only missing the boots and the barrels and the finishing washes. Still have some spare autocannons so I thought of giving this company 6 autocannons to represent the infantry correct. Really sucks that the ACs arent on the infantry sprues anymore.
