Hello to all,
Ok, this is my first log of epic miniatures. With any luck, it will have differents army inside, but my projects are :
- 1 blood angels pre-heresy army, with adeptus mechanicus ally.
-1 big huge waaagh with feral orks and speed freaks inside (and lots of gargants !!!).
-1 Chaos squat army (but first, I have to choose a chaos god.. very difficult !)
-1 human "manga" army theme with a lot of Tau vehicles and heavy gear (DP9) robots inside (but WTF forgeworld is doing with the Tau (and all epic) miniatures. Where the hell are they ?).
Ok, now, what about me ?
First I'm French (maybe you know already because of my french accent
) and I'm living in Hungary. I'am an old time gamer. I'm in the miniatures Hobby since "Spaces Marines 2nde edition" (a looong time ago), and I've stop Epic when Epic 40k was out...But I played to warhammer 40000 and now, I'm sick of the rules (it's like playing chess with only bishops, queens and knights...), and the neverending new editions and new codexes... and Apocalypse is just putting armies face to face literally. Who play (win) first ?
BUT, I like a lot the 40k universe (and the 30k universe), and in my old boxes, I find (again) my epic miniatures...and let's face it : my painting was bad...but the models itself are quite ugly too (old rhinos, the "thunderbricks", the old deamons, Magnus the Red...). So I've ordered some new miniatures from Forgeworld, and I was quite happy with the scale and the details of the miniatures.
I've paint it and "voila" :
I need to improve about my way to paint Epic (and base it with magnetic base) but I'm ok with the result (as it's my first 6mm miniature).
What do you think about ?
