Thanks everyone.
The Defilers are extremely easy to work with, I just plugged in the skulls and pinned on the pit-slave arm and Robert's your father's brother.

I most certainly did not.
Cybershadow did it for me.

I may be an unrepentant hommager, but I'm no thief sir!!!

I knew that title sounded too good to have made it up myself.

I love this army!
Thanks for the kind words aswell mate, it is MUCH appreciated :)
The titans are probably my favourite. Great conversions.

Really looking forward to seeing this army grow.
Cheers,
Steve.

They are also MUCH deserved.
All your stuff is quite inspirational.

Got 8 landraiders on the table now, then it's either the Banelord or some air support.
Or maybe those dreads and the Havocs.
Then there's the unit upgrades and some additional rhinos.....

Land Raiders!!!!
Image

8 Shooty transport tanks to either tote termies or toast enemy armor.
As the terminators can teleport, much to the consternation of enemy units, I'm guessing these guys will most often be on either titan hunting duty sent out to joust with enemy 'raiders.

So for the next installment I'm debating the Banelord or some air support in the form of some old Tzeentch Doomwings and Firelords (To stand in for the appropriate sized flyers)

Only one of my regular opponents fields flying units, the other has yet to acquire any (he just started playing), so at most I'll be facing a thunderhawk or two, possibly the big marine lander.

Any opinions?

Seeing as you're half my opposition, and the only one with any air power at all, I think I'll count this as one vote for the Tzeentchian air force. :P

Well, the Exodus Wars January contest is over, and it seems I won by default as no-one else elected to enter.
As there won't be a voting thread I guess I'll post my entry here.

I elected to do a pair of Warhound titans for my entry.
I converted and painted a Feral to accompany my Iron Warriors, and for his Loyalist counterpart I chose the Legio Gryphonicus scheme as I've always like it.
Image

I tried to replicate the color scheme for the War Griffons as shown on page 31 of the original Codex Titanicus, modified for my own tastes of course. I didn't like the black Plasma Blastgun with it's flames and Ace of Spades, so I pulled from the Reaver's Multilauncher and went with the mottled look as seen on the carapace.
Image

I'm now quite eager to paint up an AMTL army using this scheme so ideas, comments, and criticisms are most welcome.
Also, has anyone done up a decal sheet for the War Griffons yet?
