Thx to all.

@Brood Brother: How did you do the jump pack on those Space Marines? Can we have a picture from the rear?

Sorry, no pictures from the back, untill the next time either I'm in Copenhagen or the miniatures are here in Vejen. The jump packs are from the old epic Jump IG. A conversion I made back in the beginning of beta-testning with the new rules, (2002?), when they had removed them from the game. Wanted to test out the rules before engaging in buying new miniatures.

I still have some Jump IG left, but not more than enough to make one small alternative IG unit.

I love your painting style, a little of the old neat style, mixed with some fantastic extreme highlights. I guess that must be part of the revamping business.

Thx, it started out as just being the rebasing, but now as you have noticed I have found a style I hope I'll be able to use on all my epic-armies .

Some more picture update on the progress. For now I'll probably shift to painting some 1:3000 WWII ships, but untill the end of march I'll return on a regular basis to epic.

And the status so far:
1 x Flakwagon
2 x Gunfortress
2 x Gunwagonz m/Big Mek og Supa-Zzap-Gunz
9 x Battlewagonz
22 x Gunwagonz
6 x Grotz
6 x Boyz

Not really..

My painting is very sloppy. Luckily my even crappier skills with a camera covers up most of it..

Some WWII-ships later, I have returned to Epic. I have added a much needed Thunderhawk Gunship to the Space Marines.

And some Rough Riders to the Imperial Guards.

Finally realizing my dream since Epic Space Marine of fielding a Rough Rider Company, (though the rules have changed).:)

Wow - you do some very clean and bright work! I would never guess those Rough Riders are 6mm if I didn't already know. Great work!

Thanks, though some credit goes to the miniature itself. It was very easy to identify parts to mark. On our danish site someone suggested I needed more Rough Riders. And it is tempting to go for a Rough Rider army supported by Tachankas. :)

your minis look incredible! superb paint job! :)

Edit: on the Thunderhawk - the "metal" parts - is this a "metal" colour (e.g. GW "Boltgun Metal") or is it actually a grey paint?
