I painted up a Snakebites warband. For now it is a normal warband with 4x"gunwagons" and 1 "Gunfortress" The new Squigoth model is so much bigger than the old ones that I feel it is apropriate that it be a gunfortress. Over time it is my plan that this warband is going to be a mixed formation so I have some squig catapults(big guns) and Boar Riders(warbikes) comming through the painting que.
Image

I also painted up some broken markers. At first they just had completely white flags but that looked a bit boring. So I added some Ork Glyphs for Danger and Death.
Image

Now I only need some clever marker for units that have been activated. In 3000 point games I can keep up with who have activated but in larger games my scattered Ork brain cannot keep up. So if anyone have any ideas I am all ears.

How many Banna Wavas do you have? A simple way to do it would be to use the "Wazza" (Arrow) glyph for activated, and the "Stomp" (Boot) glyph for formations that march.

That is not a bad idea. I have LOTZ of Banna wavas. But not entirely sure if I have on for every formation I can field...

Airborne Assault. I painted up some boyz to go in one of my Landas. The attentive reader will have noticed that they are in fact Blood Axe Kommandoes. But I intend to use them as normal boyz. And as I have yet to see someone actually field Kommandoes I think it will be OK. As one of my Landas is a converted Thunderhawk painted in Blood Axe colours I thought it fitting. I gave the Boyz red Berrets like the British Airborne troops.

Also I painted up some Tinbots. They are not in any specific Clan colours but a generous mix of colours. As I figure industrious Grots have "borrowed" bits and pieces form all over the army when no one was looking.

Great army. The tinbotz look their part. It is great to see the old sculpts being of such a good quality.

Thanks.

I really wish I had more Tinbots. They are great sculpts. These were som I had from waaaay back. Now it seems they are their weight worth in diamond studded gold, sprinkled with cocaine.

In a state of temporary insanity I decided to spend my sunday tidying up my paint area. Evil rumors has it that the clean up was ordered by High Command. But I stand by my claim that I did so off my own free will! So after hours of hard labour it now looks like this.

I give it about a week before the mess and clutter has regrouped and back on its quest for world domination.

Good to see I'm not the only one that's been on an archeological expedition in the last week. Looks good!

Likewise, it is good to see that a fellow hobbyist's idea of tidy coincides with mine, rather than that of High Command's.
