No. I'm sure that's a typo. Characters need not be listed in transport allowances, as they are part of the stand they sttach to.

Since when do Falcons and Serpents for the Aspect Warrior Warhost cost 50pts?
Swordwind gives +65pts for each Falcon.

It was changed as no one ever took them at 65. They're not that great at 50 either.

Hi, I have two questions about the eldar list:

1. Is there a deeper sense that dire avenger exarchs get cc attack although dire avengers have small arms attack (same for mounted farseers that can only be added jetbikes or vypers that have only a good ff attack)?

2. Why do Alaitoc Ranger Warhosts with the 4 Falcons option cost 400 points and not 300 (100 for 4 rangers and 200 for 4 falcons)? Are transportable Rangers such a good unit? And Why?

I haven't looked hard enough at Alaitoc to answer the second question, but I can answer the first.

In 40k DA Exarchs have traditionally been armed with the Diresword, a cross between a power weapon and a force weapon. This is the reasoning behind the extra CC atack. Now the most recent Eldar Codex allows the Diresword or twin Avenger Shuriken Catapults, so there's fluff basis to make the change now, but not a consensus that this should be done.

For the Dire Avenger Exarch, the +1CC attack makes them a "all rounder", the CC has actually come up useful for me on many occasions. The main strength of the Exarch is the inspiring, the extra attack is just gravy! *laugh* I'll try and track down the earlier threads about that.

Simply this: When added to those Rangers, those Falcons can be garrisoned and start the game on overwatch; that's what you're paying for with them, they make an incredible picket/deepstrike formation.

A question: why does Saim-Hann not get access to Vampire Raiders? Surely if any craftworld would use Vampires for air assaults, it would be Saim-Hann; what was the logic behind replacing Raiders with Hunters (and not allowing both)?
