Actually that was a real nice little game (swings and roundabouts, dead close in the end) and there's nothing like having Ben on the sidelines to make one aware of all the dirty last turn tricks that an opponent can pull to try getting the win: it's not as though I didn't clip you enough times all game to cry foul!

Next time we play with those armies I think I'll switch out the Terminators for a decimator and perhaps drop some deamons but we'll see: i've got a LatD 4k list I'd like to try out at some point too...

What the cube with the whole in it depends entirely on how BIG a cube it is...

BTW: just been checking raider 2.0: Necrons are SR 2 accross the board now: none of that deceptive SR3 for you anymore my dear boy!

If I can get someone to send me some extra figures before a couple of weeks time then we'll have a nice LatD v Necron game.
Still got to think of some other 4-5k games I'd like to play...I'm an avid ork fan!

Still No. 1 with a bullet (cube shaped of course)!!!!

In preperation for some bigger battles I assembled the troops that I bought at the Bristol Winter Warmer. More Exodite Infantry.



I still have about enough for another Phalanx but it brings my horde to 150 Necron Warriors over 30 stands. Exciting eh?





After a few complaints from people over my previous stand in Tomb Complex I finally got around to making a more interesting one. I will add some more green to it at some point, it is a little sparese as I was just trying to get it finished in time for the WW.

Its a cube sky scraper.





And finally, I am nearing the end of my epic Necron army and am just making a few units for the sake of completion. This is a trial for my Heavy Destroyers. I am pretty happy with the design and he looks pretty different to the existing destroyers in my army. I need 4 more of the robots though so if anyone has any spare feel free to send them my way.







All I have left to make is going to be something along the lines of...

10 stands of scarabs
2 stands of pariahs
6 stands of immortals
a bunch of wraits
3 more tomb spyders
1 monolith
1 Night Bringer
Maybe some tomb Gaurd
A few extra obelisks
Some Titans

The Cubic Complex is simply fantastic. I think the Destroyer looks great, although I think a more cubic approach to the body would have been the ultimate solution.

Keep going with the cubes, they're awesome! If I was a judge and had some prizes, which I'm not and I don't, you'd definitely get 1st prize for originality and inventive use of materials

Ever watch The Cube? Really a rather neat Sci Fi film and a must see for all cube heads.

Thanks for the kind words guys, it really helps me to maintain enthusiasm for an army (usually no force can hold my attention span for very long).

Like the cube scraper, had a smiler idea my self for my tomb world list's ones, but more just tall slightly angled pillar .

Between my cubes, circles, semi circles, box cars, furnace on legs, 8 legged bugs, super elite space ships and otterware, I dont get much done... BUT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MY CUBES!!!
