I'm actually looking forward to potentially playing against a Necron army, as they're one of the armies I'm interested in. Should be fun.

I would happily play the titan horde as its something I am interested in. Although as my army proved against Ryan the other day... It cannot touch warmachines.

Will checkout the list though. Looks interesting.

If you had a really giant cube, it could be an Aeonic Orb, and then all War Machines would bow before you. :-)

An Aeonic Orb made from a Rubik's Cube would be neat...

Also have the water pistol feeling, especially as I've seen what Titan lists (both bio-titans and the OGBM) can do to a regular list.

I wouldn't worry, AMTL is generally regarded as weaker than those two (Which is a good thing, as OGBM and the Bio-Titan list are overpowered... there's a reason that of the 3 lists only AMTL has reached NetEA "approved" status...).

Hello all. This will be my first Epic Tourny since GW held the GT in Nottingham. That was fun but only has 12 players and 4 different armies. Since then I've only really played against friends. And we've reached that stage where we can beat each other equal amounts as we know our tactics. So for me this is going to be a nice learning experience :)

Anyways I'm bringing cubes (though mine arent cube like :))

Raiders From The Red Sands
Tomb complex -75
Infantry Phalanx, + 3xtomb spiders, 3ximmortals, 1xpariah - 555
Infanrty Phalanx, + 3xtomb spiders, 3ximmortals - 495
Monolith Phalanx, + 1xobelisk - 325
Monolith Phalanx - 275
Monolith Phalanx - 275
C'tan, Deceiver - 300
Pylon - 200
Pylon - 200
Warbarque - 300 = 3000pts

Have no idea how this will fair against anyone, but its all good fun right?

See you two days.......

I'm trying out an unconventional, mechanised, Tactical-heavy, Black Templars list, with zero aircraft, titans or supreme commander (with thanks to Ryan for lending me the army to play! Hopefully one of these days I'll paint up my own but sadly I still haven't found the time yet):

Crusaders (Tacticals) + Land Raider Crusader + Hunter + Las Razorback (BTS)
Crusaders + Land Raider Crusader + Hunter
Crusaders + Land Raider Crusader + Hunter
Crusaders + Land Raider Crusader
Terminators + Emperor’s Champion
Bikes with 1 Attack Bike
Bikes with 1 Attack Bike
Assault
Land Speeder Tornados
Land Speeders

3000 points, 10 formations.

Stompzilla: to give you a bit more info (if you see this in time) Vraksians are a newly renegade guard army from the trilogy of Krieg/WWIIish trench warfare style Forge World books. They're similar to a guard list, with some chaotic elements and different ancient-tech tanks which they liberated from stores. I used them in last year's Winter Warmer and didn't do very well, but they were fun and different.

The vehicles are the main new element. They use 3 different patterns of Malcador tank freely mixed in a tank company, they're like a Leman Russ or Demolisher that's slightly shootier but also slower (15cm move and, yes, that does mean they can garrison). If I'm remembering them correctly the weapon for the different Malcador types are either Battle Cannon, Heavy Bolter, 2 x Lascanon (5+FF) OR Twin Lascanon, 2 x Lascanon, Demolisher Cannon (5+FF) OR 5 x Heavy Bolter, Demolisher Cannon (3+FF).

Valdors are as Malcadors but armed with 1 x 60cm MW3+ disrupt shot plus a Lascanon. Nasty, but 3 strong = easy to break.

Minotaurs are as Malcadors but armed with two Earthshaker Cannons (as on a Basilisk) giving them 2BP each. Again 3 strong.

Looking forward to a great weekend :)
