Some more Southern Epic action would be great!

In the trial by combat thing, is running away and hiding allowed?

Only if a unit has the infiltrators special ability in your army list.

Before I book a hotel, should I be aiming at as close to C&T as possible (ease of getting to curry/whatever) or not?

15 mins walking distance isn't too bad,
I can reccomend 'The Lanes' Youth Hostel if you want to be all trendy and there is a YHA near Corn Street.
The Marriot is literally over the road but not sure how much you want to spend!

And there's more where that came from too!

By the way, could I get a rough hands up on how many people are coming for curry?

*raises 2 hands for curry*

Marcus still can't register on here but I'll hazard a guess that he wants curry.

Nice work on the terrain!

Man I can't even make it and I want curry. Lawks, I would do anything for curry, pretty much anything at all.

This place looks like the best bet for curry:

http://www.oldindia.co.uk/

Not too expensive so long as one avoids all the speciality dishes: even better if you go vege!
Nice and close to the centre of town and some great pubs should we want to continue from there for a bit of live music up at The Mother's Ruin afterwards.
I'll book it on the day once we know how many people want food :-)
