Not bad progress CS. Now paint 'em!

Those 'Stealers are scheduled to be painted in February (no actual painting is scheduled for this before the start of 2011). I still have another 11 to build, and a Lictor, and to set up the parts for my Terminators. But, on the bright I have the entire remaining November to get those done... two days! :o

Hrm. List...

1. Syrian/Egyptian '67/'73 armor needs to be finished.
2. Russian WWII heavy armor need completing (refinish/re-base).
3. Modern Russian infantry and a couple of tank and BMP companies.
4. Finish Microworld Foundationists and L-Riders.
5. Finish British Aeronefs and Land Ironclads.

Stuff I need to own by the end of the year:
1. Expand GZG Kravak force from 24 to 72 pieces.
2. Rebuild DRM Pax Arcadia force. Stupidly sold the ones I had a couple years ago, and I feel like I have a hole in my collection.
3. All new DRM, EW, Plasmablast, and Microworld scifi releases.
4. British and Prussian Landships (and whatever other ground stuff they release) from Spartan.
5. Select items of forumware. If I bought all the kewl stuff in this category, I wouldn't have any money left for the other four entries in this list.

Non-mini stuff:
1. Need a new gig. Current one's ending in February and nothing much on the horizon until June.
2. Finish next rules set for publication. Already close - need a final (blind) playtest round and a photo shoot or two, then off to layout.
3. Finish original background book for game releases; possible miniatures production...
4. Get the hell out of California. Arizona, Texas, or Nevada? Gotta be a desert climate...

Oh, these fickle things!

Last week I managed to get my hands on an Imperial Navy fleet to paint.

Well, plans for 2011...

EW 6mm
[*]Finish off the Edenite Range.
[*]The Guild Range is pretty much sorted we just have the Harpy, Roc and Zeus to do.
[*]Got a few more quirky bits to add for the Khazari along with airpower.
[*]Website needs a complete overhaul.
[*]Get a hefty chunk of the Royal Empire Range released.
[*]FINALLY release the Tarragin models and the poor bike mounted Karnak figure who have been waiting in there master moulds for (two?) years now.

SCP
[*]New contract for our IT consultancy side of the business, our current contract is set to expire in Q1 2011 so we are negociating a renewal.
[*]New website.
[*]We've two more miniature ranges beyond the 6mm EW that we are developing at the moment.
[*]Recruiting more of the worlds best talent to join us in the EW team.

Personal
[*]Buying a house in London and moving in with Jenelle.
[*]Performing subtle alterations to the house to incorporate a new gaming room, a harem and a bar.

Progress at last, see the blogue.
Have started working on the Warhammer army, part of my 2011 plan. Not Skaven, in the end, but Khemri.

Mantic Skellies are a lifesaver financially. Not personally fond of their elves, but the other stuff I've seen I approve of. Now they need to start a Ratman range.

It's a good find, even if it appears you missed the first train...

Too bad you didn't go with the Rat-things; I'm having to actively resist the new Doomflayer, despite probably never going to play WFB again...

Yep, true.
Skaven: don't worry, their turn will come; and I think I agree about the Doomflayer - it's the thing that looks like a big cricket ball, right?

Yeah, and the rules are brutal. d3 Impact hits at S4 and -2Sv., and an artillery dice worth of automatic hits in CC. 3+ save from the front, 5+ to the flanks and rear. Running it beside a Clanrat regiment and using it to flank would be tasty.
