I think the NetEA list is the better choice. It brings in the newer list but after playing it many times I found it to be well done changes. The Cobra - Revenants combo may be deadlier than you think if you play them appropriately (read: wiley!). Bouncing the Cobra about is not as easy, but your opponent may underestimate it or simply run out of activations to deal with it.

I have sacrificed my lone Cobras on more than one occasion by marching at the end of turn 1 and sustaining on turn 2. The targets were usually large infantry or mixed formations (Orks are a prime target since they get bunched up easily). You sustain and hit Infantry on a 3+ TK and he's gonna lose a lot of guys. Retain and assault with another formation to break your target utterly. The raw damage done by the Cobra is not a lot, but in conjunction with a follow-up assault you can really deal a death blow to an army.

Your Cobra ends up out in the open and usually breaks and dies, but you can make it worth the loss.

Not thinking switching to the Ultwhe list is much worth is but there is still that question of getting a supreme in the guardians and an extra pip of Strategy Rating (in fact can anyone confirm, deny, or tell me why Ulthwe get that, is it "official"?)

NetEA Ulthwe have a Strategy Rating of 5... the Great Oz has SPOKEN!

if you're going to have guardians with wraithguard, I'd strongly recommend a storm serpent instead of the cobra - you want to be able to dump them in your opponent's face where and when you choose and not be tied to using the wraithgate. Personally, I'd dump the waveserpents from one of the other fms and replace them with wraithguard. I'd also go for an extra wraithguard over 3 support weapons any day.

Plus, I'd also drop the 3 fireprisms and replace them with 4 falcons - you have enough MW with the revenants and the extra tank ups their durability considerably. I'd also go for rangers over warwalkers, any day (stick 'em in cover and they take an age to shift). Plus, you really need to get some nightspinners or a void spinner - disrupt artillery is very nasty.

oh, and if you want the seercouncil (it's pretty good!), take 2 5-strong falcon/ firestorm fms, replace the warwalkers with 5 rangers and you're done. You'll have to stick him in one of the waveserpented fms though. I tend to take a guardian fm, with heavy weapons (and support weapons, if I can afford it) and stick them in cover near the blitz on OW for most of the game. If nothing comes to them (which would be a good thing) then you can sit there for one of the DTF obj or run up to contest a TnH on the 3rd turn

I would always recommend taking an Autarch (SC) for the reroll. One of the main Eldar strengths is the ability to retain twice to pile in a big attack - and it can be very embarrassing to have the retain fail. ::)
