Correct: that's Dave Thomas' rather frustrating LatD list...

that hall looks really nice. Really nice. Looking forward to playing there sometime next year.

Some really nice looking armies there too.

All in all... really nice.

Open war is moving there so you've got 2 one day events to aim for, dates on the Epic-UK calendar but no more details other than Steve has been assured their will be epic tickets on sale.

I'd expect it to be less than the 20 we have been accustomed to so I'd suggest you keep an eye out and buy early to avoid disappointment.

Thanks for the pics Ben.
As usual I had a great time even with all the teasing about being rubbish at the game :-X .

What list was the one with Salamander Scouts, Knights, and Revenants chosen from? Orks?

You can't tell from back here, but just to add to that, the infantry are all colonial Brit models with pith helmets...

I thought it was all pretty obvious. If it's got 4 wheels and it's not a Hydra, it's a Land Transporter, if it's infantry it's a Cultist.

The event was held at "The Eye Of The Storm" in Mansfield, home of the internet retailer Maelstrom Games.

They currently have about 40 6x4 gaming tables, but that's supposedly increasing to 60-ish soon.

There's got to be more than 40 tables, as there were 104 players at the Hordemachine ETC.

Way I understand it is that the tables in the bar area will move downstairs once they've finished building the kitchen/feeding area underneath the current gaming room, and then they'll put in the extra gaming tables in the current bar area.

I make it about 48 6' x 4' with another 18 or so to be added in the current bar area. ETC had 6 players per table Pitfiend.

It's a great venue any way you look at it.
