Well 40K is for kids, and this thing looks like a funny chibi version of a thunderhawk - it's bound to very popular. :(

The horrifying thing is that, at least in the B&C Blood Angels forum, there's a significant majority who are OK or happy with it.

Of course, there's a significant minority who think it sucks. And I think a lot of those OK with it have taken notice of the various conversion possibilities to make it look less moronic.

I'd say the warseer thread is about 10% like, 30% ok but convert, 40% hate and 20% Ork players who are rubbing their hands.

EDIT: Above post as good example

I have to wait for pictures from another angle. The more i look at it the more i'm comfortable with the model.

Over one Warseer, they're calling it the Storm-Turkey.

Me too. How the hell do you fit that many large armored vehicles on a 40k board anyway?!?
I've seen 3-4 valkyries on one board before, and I can't say (from an outsider's perspective) that it made much sense.

While Vehicles in 40k were novel back in the mid 90s, now they seem to be overdone beyond belief. GW really should have kept 40k as squad level and Epic for Army level.

I think it's a collaborative effort with GW & Cepia. Just in time for Christmas:

I thought they call it the "Thunk". As in Thunderhawk without the middle bit...same as the model :D
