Yes it's the official model.

That certainly is... a model.
*cough* wow, yeah. ummm, looks like they designed the nose section, then got told it could only be a couple inches longer, glued on a half-assed engine/wing section, and called it a day.

Yup, that thing is so front heavy it would just swing forward as soon as it took off.

I wouldn't be that surprised if that was deliberate, and down the line they introduced a couple of extra sprues for a mid-section to make a plastic thunderhawk.

It looks like they took the tracks off a Land Raider and stuck a tail boom and engines on it.

the wings look more like valkyries to me, what with being down swept and the engine muzzles on the end. I think the worse bit actually is the top turret. It strongly accentuate that front heavy look. It would look better without the turret and the... thingy just behind it IMHO.

It looks just as much of a kitbash as actual kitbash like this one :

but the turret actually make it look worse.

Coffee just shot out of my nose... ::)

A sperm with wings?? Really?

I'd say this is a fine opportunity for some of our CADeptus Mechanicus folks to put forth a proper redesign. ;)
