After slowly recovering from a cold, I find that I have about 10 days to complete this months job! Lots to get organised and done now, but I am determined not to fail this three months before it starts! That would be a record even for me! ;)

And, vanvlak, I am keeping up with your blog. It makes great reading!

Good luck, CS, and thanks. Mine is already going pear-shapes, but what the heck, it's fun :)

VSF Necron on the blog. You might or might not have seen this before.
It's weird.

And so, the list for 2011 has been - ah - appended to. Check the blog :)

*sigh* If I had an opponent for that kind of thing, that may actually be the game to get me into VSF. And, I say that as someone not totally sold on Spartan Games stuff in the past, and never even looking at the genre in interest before!

I am currently working on my 2011 Challenge record table, on my home page on the WikiWikiWar site.

How's it going CS? And anyone else doing this?
I'm doing just about everything BUT modelling; but at least I added a pic-filled (well, there's 3 pics) entry on the blog (link below unless the signature is messed up).

Hi there v. I am progressing much as expected... meaning that I am about two weeks behind and my challenge doesnt start properly for another two months! Who knows how behind I will be before I actually start this! ;D

I will post an update on my blog shortly, but I think that right now it is just you and me. I have set up my Wiki home page with a table of the tasks for each month, and links to my blog and EA Orks list. I have also constructed my EA Ork list, based on the one that I attempted a couple of years ago - and found the three objective markers that I almost finished making. I am sure that I have the Warboss stand around somewhere too, as I was really pleased with that.

I will finish off Octobers tasks and then post pictures and an update shortly, but the schedule is now set of the next 14 months, and I am pleased despite being behind. I am not going to worry about it, just try to catch up. I have already made more progress in three weeks than the previous six months!

That's not bad at all. I'm hesitating posting specific targets, especially since I picked up a 90+ army for the 30 years war.... still, blogging is fun :)

Well,

Epic Armageddon Eldar: 3 Guardian Stands finished, 1 Wraithlord stand, 1 grav tank, 1 heavy tank, 1 war walker. Almost finished: 2 grav tanks, flyer.

LotR: bases to finish for 5 Minas Tirith warriors, 5 Goblins. Balrog got orange-yellow. Aragorn (MoM) and barrow weight and cave troll (metal) almost finished. 6 Wargs at 75%.

BFG: finished the venerable battle barge. Finished an Iconoclast Destroyer (RT), an alien escort base coloured.

All in all fruitfull. Last monday had another painting evening with 2 friends. Ideal to make progress on 'easy' rank'n file troops like those from LotR.

Oi, BH, you can't take part if you're efficient ;)
How can we commiserate and console ourselves if you're setting such a - er - bad example? :) :)

To be honest: the LotR figures I mentioned were like 90% finished except the bases. ;) Took them up last monday for the first time since few months. The Balrog is a different story. He's truly a Dutch symbol now...

Also, I need to keep you and Cybershadow and ??? on the verge of doing something so you won't feel wasted....

lol... just start painting and catch up with me!

Heh - hey, does lifting a paintbrush count as catching up?

TRC - tell me all about it! Argh.
