Thanks for the comparison pics, Apoc. Looks like the Microworld minis are suitable for Epic.

Does anyone know if all the Dark Realm Miniatures Pax Arcadian heavy tanks are suitable for Superheavies, or just some of them? If just some, does anyone have any info as to which? Also, would the Pax Arcadian Piranha Gunships proxy well for vultures?

If you like the design and want to use them as such there's no reason why you shouldn't. :) It is after all your army, and you should buy the models you think look good.

As a bit of shameless pluggery though, have you checked out the Exodus Wars range of miniatures? They got some nice super heavy tanks and skimmers that could also suit your needs.

I would also like to sieze this opportunity to plug EW's marvellous range of SHT's and 'coptors.

Guild for heavy tanks (and medium tanks)
Khazari for a choice of two 'coptor variants (third coming soon, keep your eyes peels for Warmasters Workbench)

Yeah, i absolutely LOVE the EW superheavies, and the khazari valkyries are perfect. Problem is I am an Aussie in the UK, so really am using 'funny money' at the moment.. what are their postage costs like?

All of our postage is done at cost price - so pretty darned cheap :).

We take Paypal, Cheque and Money Order.

Or if you are in London, drop by our office. Ping Dom an email and he'll arrange a suitable time, dominic.bellman@exoduswars.com

It's done on weight and is pretty reasonable... think the shipping is litterally what they get charged by royal mail. Would be £2 - £3 for a pack of super heavies.

Since it's done on weight though you'll probably paying the same shipping for 1 pack of SHT or 3 packs as i think 1 pack might be just over one weight bracket and the next isn't till about 500g or something!

I have both DRM & Exodus Wars models ... both are completely compatible with G/W and each other. My plan is to make a Separate Rgt for each. My DRM Rgt will have 1 AR Bn and 2 IN Bns. My E/W Rgt will have an AR Bn, an IN Bn and a Security Bn ... It's all good !! ;D And those Rgts will be attached to my IG Rgts ... 8) Coalition Warfare at it's best ... ;) So yes, both DRM's & E/W's gunships will work for Valks or Vultures. DRM's or E/W's Super Heavy AFVs will work fine for Shadowswords and/or Baneblades ... That's what I'm using them for ... ;D
