Does anyone have any experience either reading or playing these rules? I had a friend direct me to their site and saw this while I was looking at other rules.

I have been semi-following this for a while (hey, its a robot game!). It grew up on the MJ12 forums as a fan rules set, developed by committee, and that does come through. I havent played it, but the sense that I get is that it is a decent rules set, but there are some quirks to its rules.

CyberShadow,
Thanks for the response.
Can you give me an example of "quirky"? You've got me curious.
Also, IYO, is it worth the $25 sticker price?

If you drop me your email address in a PM I will send you the demo rules that I downloaded in 2008, if that would help.

I bought these a while back - mainly for the 'design your own' aspect. I found the rules to be somewhat clunky, and the unit design rules to be needlessly over-complicated. As a result, I've not played them.
