wow, i actually laughed out loud (sorry lol). i'm glad i'm not the only one who has problems w/ the development on some of the army lists

Easy way to check to see if you'll be a good army list developer:

1) Have you been playing Epic since before it was invented?
2) Can you recite all the changes that have been to the Tau and Tyrannid lists (including the .1.1.1.1.1.1 variants)
3) Are you able to ignore all criticism and advice?

If you can answer yes to all of those, you're an army list developer :)

To which I respond with my own conjecture, the inverse of that statement:

Easy way to check if you're a good army list tester:

1) You are able to determine how good or bad a list is without playtesting it
2) You can adamantly defend your position through the use of absolutes and the reasoning that because it's your opinion it is true
3) You are right, despite all evidence of the contrary

DaVE is anyone bringing TAU or Squats? i dont want to bring an army that is already being played. Matt wants me to play tau but the rules might change 2 to 3 times brfore the tournament.

No Tau at the moment, DS and ePilgrim are the only ones who might bring Squats. The former will probably go with AM if I had to guess though, and the latter isn't coming I believe.

Stop hijacking the thread. It has a very narrow and well-defined purpose: discussing NEAT III.5; army lists; griping about list development; discussing the weather; children's playdates; the busy nature of Real Life; how great it would be if the nature of time and space were different, enabling one to attend said tourney; building gaming tables; and luring friends to dungeon-esque basement lairs for extracurricular "activities".

As you can see, its definitely NOT for discussing games of epic up in the frozen tundra of Moose Neck or other locales north of the border. That's waaay off-topic. Where's Cybershadow? ;)
