I only stayed a couple of days - was visiting my wife, who is working at the Dentistry pathology dept. of the University - she's back home in a couple of days time now. Just had time to visit Sheffield centre, GW Sheffield (got the Generals' compendium), Castleton area (Peak D)..... not much else - well, I hadn't seen my wife for over one month!

Cool, so you didn't venture to Meadowhall then? At this time of the year, any shopping centre is MADNESS!

The GW Sheffield store is very nice, but the Meadowhall one is less than half size of one that one, but as it is nearer, it os the one I frequent most.

Cheers

Chris

No, 'fraid not. The Sheffield store was well stocked, but quite devoid of people apart from the crew and a sullen pair of chaps seated at a table discussing the Emperor knows what.
Cheers.

What day/Time did you go in? I would guess at weekends it is buzzing with people. Plus if it was early, then it would have been empty as well.

If you ever come to sheffield again, give me a buzz and I'll take you to a little place I know that sells loads of GW stuff second hand and rather cheap!

Cheers

Chris

Hell, I go up the A1 enough. I could be persuaded to stop off at Sheffield en route if the stock is good!
