I am an Epic Amateur and the nomenclature in the chaos list seems to be bouncing around a lot. Do you mean "Chosen" as in: Terminators, Scouts or "Special Marines" (i.e. regular units with some God-upgrade/favour)? Different documents that I look at seems to use the term for different type of (40k) formations. For the Scout role I use Space Marine Scouts:



For the Terminator role I use Chaos Terminators



But I am probably missing something here...

Sorry, should have been more clear - I meant the scout "type"; thanks for your help and nice models btw - really like the terminators.

I mounted my Chosen 3 to a base (rather than 4 to a base for my normal Chaos Marines) to help differentiate then.
I also put ruins on the bases to signify them sneaking and hiding in terrain.

Lastly, I put chains and skulls on their Rhinos to make them easily recognisable from the normal Chaos Marine Rhinos.

I've seen a lot of people using the old style chaos marine models as chosen/forlorn hope
