I like the blue and white scheme, Dave. It really makes me wish I had done that, rather than the blue and yellow I went with.

Thanks guys. The white was on a whim with the Warlord but I'm happy the way it came out. I bet you could paint over the yellow Eric if the paint was thin enough. I also have some gel like paint remover that you can apply selectively, if you want I can bring it down.

Either way, these guys and the Warlord will be joining us for Saturday.

First up we have a test AOT (Armored Otter Transport, for all your otter transportation needs...), in a lovely striped gray camouflaged scheme. I think this is what I'm going to go with for my Thunderbolts that I'm starting this week. What do you guys think?

And I finally finished the Warhounds this past week. I brought them down for some gaming Saturday but they didn't make it to the mega battle.

I also managed to put the grass tufts on all of my infantry, bikes and dreads. I'm going to try to finish the tanks this week. I'm holding off on pictures of everything until I get my THawks done.

those AOTs look almost exactly how i'm going to be painting my IG (although mine will be darker grey, and i'd probably use a wash at the end there)
and the warhounds look great.

GZG tanks (some still awaiting primer) to go with the APCs and infantry I posted a few weeks ago. From left to right, Wolf-AD AA, NOVA SP artillery, Jupiter heavy tank, Wolf medium tank. I'll see about some better pictures for this week.

This week you guys get a tour around my desk. In addition to continuing the "grass tufting" of my Marines...

I finished puttying the TBolts this week and got their base coat done...
Image

Took a picture for OMan of the GZG artillery and AA tanks...
Image

and stripped, re-based, primed and base coated a Starmada fleet. Matt and I started playing again after a long hiatus. My old color scheme wasn't doing it for me so I decided to try something new.
Image

I think the highlight color is a little too bright though so I'm going to go 2:1 as opposed to 1:1 with the base:highlight mix. Thought?

What sort of colour scheme do you have in mind for your fleet Dave?

Red and black. I haven't decided on how I'm doing the bridges yet though. On the last pic, the brown unhighlighted area will be black.

I wasn't too happy with the way the TBolts were turning out so they ended up getting stripped last Wednesday. At this point they are re-primed and I've got a few coats on their bellies done but that's it.

I did make some progress with my ships though. My Frigates are all done along with one Destroyer. The other three need to have the black details put in though.

Here's a close-up of a Frigate.

And a Destroyer.

I also based up my Fighters for this fleet.
Image

And here's my weekly tangent, a Heavy Cruiser for my next fleet. I scratch built the pylons/engines with plasticard, the glare makes them hard to see though.

What's the cruiser? I'm unfamiliar with that design.
