Anyone want to buy some current E:A chaos horde boxes and split them? Would be looking to buy and split 4+ boxes.

I need the terminators, but im not going to buy the boxes just for them... I would also like a few of the command figs, flesh hounds and bloodletters, but as long as i get the termies i don't really mind.

That means up for grabs are the marines, 3 types of daemon, the beastmen, cultists, havocs, berzerkers, noise marines, relevant share of bases etc.

that or buying off that guy on ebay (or sell the spares on there myself)...anyone interested in a sufficiently large number of the other figs to make this worthwhile?

Alternatively: WTB 88 chaos termies ... :P

Well I could be interested in various bits. What do you feel the bits you want are worth?

I just bought about two 'sprues' of plasmablast progenitor heavy infantry, took a look at them, and realized that they make fairly nice terminators -- most interestingly, they have that characteristic rectangular void on their back.

It'd take a bit of effort for me to dig them out and get appropriate photos, but, at about $0.20-0.25 a figure, (.95 euros for 6) they are well worth considering.

£2.50 per box for the 10 termies? (+want a one off 2 sets of command, 20 bloodletter, 24 hounds, say £6.50) , assuming this looks reasonable:

166 figs per box i think? @13.50 per box we have 8.14p per fig, ill value the termies* at 3x the value of a basic fig, so 24.42p per termie, 244.2p per box..call it £2.50

*i would also put the berserkers at 3x, and the command figs maybe 5x? these seem to be the popular parts

That is what i think they are worth if no one is being a profiteer and taking relative desirability into account, they are worth more on ebay, but then on ebay a 4 box split total sales is well in excess of the total RRP ::)

Apoc, once upon a time Frogbear, myself and another player once split 7 boxes and we just split the minis at per figure/box costs and divided it all between us. It was much simpler than trying to work out a specific cost of each mini type.

Yep true, but if few people are interested pricing up the termies and berserkers helps you get to the box price faster, whilst still being a good deal for all. If people want to do it another way i don't mind, as long as i get lossa terminators ;D

40*cultist and beastmen per box for MoK is £3.26, for how many boxes MoK?

My bits+MoK's would get us to £5.76 per box bought.

Who wouldn't want cultists? :) Actually I have a load of beastmen if people are thinking of doing any cultist/beastman swaps :)

Anyway - I'll check the piles of chaos when i get home for what I'm after, but probably all the marine stuff (inc havocs etc) and some characters. I'll check especially for demon levels.

I would be interested in things like Flesh Hounds, Daemonettes, Flamers, and Noise Marines.

My concern however is not to buy stuff that other people may want to buy, which in turn may prevent them playing the lists that I happen to be the AC for :P

So when you finalise what people want and have the remains that are still outstanding, I will see if I jump in on this.

Yep. It was good to have others interested.

Hmmm. I like that. It would be good if the community here could share in that grab bag of goodies. I would definitely put a share to that. There is enough minis there (termies etc) for everyone!

Just basing it on the needs of the terminators... You want 88 termies leaving 145 left. If you count on an average of what people would need, I would say that you get 5 more people interested and we could really give that auction a run for it's money. Just need to know the postage cost.

Are we going to do it?

Sure thing. Who is interested? We need about 4 more people (at a guess)...

That is an interesting idea. I'm willing to stick a bid in for £150 - shall we see if we can get it for that then divide up the spoils? I'd like a chaos army :) Saying that there seems to be several there! It seems to average 40 stands or 20 boxes, though with a shortfall of marines.

For what I'd actually need as soon as I finish this submission to the MOD's 2nd Permanent Secretary on getting a fixed cost for a procurement, I'll get counting :)
