And if you don't use the tracks provided... and combine the rail cars together and stick hmm....i think the leftovers from the kit could form the central hulk of a kollosus as well. :o

Well here is an up-gunned mörser...maybe it is a bit too much though? :P

A fast blu-tacking in place, this looks rather off as i haven't started chopping the kit up yet, so quick fixes like fitting the breach block in reverse skew the looks a bit.

full direct sunlgiht sucks, but the shadows of the guns look nice ;D

The shadow in the first pic has a really nice size for the barrell of the cannon (short, squat and really bulky).

That is a real surprise with the Doomblaster base. Could you place the cannon on it to see what it looks like (may be quite shot but interesting to see a comparison).

I was also thinking that the barrel (if shorter maybe?) could point upwords more like the Goliath Mega Cannon? At present, that thing looks like it could shoot across two table lengths at least :)

lost me a bit here, but the default kit barrel on the doomblaster mounted carriage?

Ye, can't increase gun elevation any more until i actually modify the kit, it won't go any further with the breach block in backwards ;D Also i was aiming for 4 tables :(

More i look at it im inclined to go less is more modification wise. Tempted to use the hellfury cannon barrel but on stock tracks, but then i wanted the 2 sets of tracks for kollosos. Also considering adding skirt armour to the tracks with relief detail frieze, Assyrian style.

Btw sorry to copy you Onyx, but that kit is such a cool idea :( :)

Also hopefully microworlod games beastmen out soon (at last!) so will be worth a look for slaves and mutants etc.

I just went and bought the land train model on page 9 (my last post on that page - first pic).

When it arrives I will get some comparison pics with troops and other War Engines.

The scheduled game will not happen this week, however I have a date of the 2nd October booked if I do not get one in before then

Ha, got redirected to this area instead of the original Chaos Squats page. Silly me.

Anyway, just figured I'd share a pic of a Chaos Squat I whipped up while away from home. Got a whole notebook filling up with 'em. I'm trying to re-ink so they show up on the pure black and white scanner at the hotel lobby. Wee!

Anyway, maybe you can use this for something...
