I assume as the destructor is somewhat redundant with the baal about? And to give people a chance to proxy the baal?

As to flamstorm cannon - other than the fact its not that good for an Epic load it, its too fiddly for a unit that won't appear that much in the army. Its like regular air drop marines in Epic only have one type of land raider.

Still find the Red Thirst text too open ended, IMO engage move needs to be "at least at the full speed of the slowest dismounted unit", this prevents annoying daisy chain assaults.

Yeah, that would prevent suicide Rhinos I guess.

The Rhino speed boost; this needs to be an army wide special rule, as it is it's annoying and difficult to adjust or drop with development.

I'm not greatly adverse to this.

Storm Raven Vs Rhino. I'm going to have to admit, whith Rhino chassis at 35cm speed the Storm Raven is not a great investment. The community has also been divided on Rhino speed. What are peoples thoughts on "Lucifer Pattern Rhino Engine- unit may move an additional 5cms when making advance, double or engage action"?

And not greatly adverse to this being the special rule in question.

My objection is that it is simply more KISS to modify the base speed value.
I prefer to "cheat" and use basic mechanics to represent special abilities, wherever possible.
Some tall chap once advised me to try and use that approach.

The bike formation description should read "fewer bike formations", rather than "less bike formations"

It certainly should. Also it should be more than a placeholder paragraph. :-)

I'm open to alternative suggests for giving Rhinos a speed boost whiteout encroaching on the Storm Raven niche?

Storm Raven gets 40cm speed, natch. :-P

Especialy since RT in 40k doesn't effect vechiles

BTW it kinda bugs me that Blood Angels have are barred from "regular" dread because blood angels have alleays been able to get mobs of dreads(now I can get 14).

If it were my decision i'd just have the furioso and the normal assualt cannon dred. Then for the baals flamestorm cannon w/ flamer sponsons and the assault cannon w/ HBs.

I've not played with storm ravens yet but transported mw ff dreads seems like it could be too strong imo.

It's cheaper to cart around a Librarian. :-)

Added a couple of photos and slightly modified the wording of the Red Thirst special rule.

It's my intention to "punch up" the look of the document over the next month or so.

E&C: I think there is some cleanup that needs to be done, quite a bit of it based on the Stormraven addition.

Assault - Is the detachment supposed to have Dreads attached? If so, I assume this is for the Stormraven change and/or for Thawk load?

Devs - Why the 25 point premium? Is it just to discourage their use for flavor reasons?

Fast Attack - Are Attack Bikes really worth half of what Speeders are as an upgrade? I could understand some disparity, but I'm not sure about that. With the Blood Angel Bikes being upgraded to Scouts, it seems like 2 Speeders/2 Bikes/3 Attack Bikes for the same price would be a better pricing structure. I think a good comparison is the BA Bike + Fast Attack upgrade to the White Scars bikes - 6 bikes (Scout) + 1 attack bike, or 4+4, for 350 seems pretty close to 8 (walker) for 375 to me.

Heavy Support - I don't know if it is intentional or not, but there are formations that can take Heavy Support that cannot be transported. As it reads, that means they cannot take LRs as upgrades, e.g. no Land Raiders with Assault Marines.

Stormravens - This is set up with flexible numbers, allowing some pretty weird combinations of transport. For example, Tacs + Stormraven + Razorback + 2 Rhinos. It seems like Stormraven transport ought to be all-or-nothing rather than mix-n-match.
