Part of the reason that the extant infantry is looking a bit tired is their monopose nature, so multipart's a decent way of moderating that. Of course, some units would benefit more than others: monopose Necrons look cool as toast. :)

One thing that I would like very much is some tyranids in the new style – but rather than being individual models, being big strips of bugs crawling over each other; a little like a Warmaster base or a Warhammer swarm.

Oh, and while I'm at it, 6mm blank dollies*, so that I could have a pop at detailing while easily keeping the size consistent.

I sent bronze crates and drums to Steel Crown for mass production.

Ah crap. Forgot to send Tom pics of those for the component store... They're ready AFAIK.

I personally do love multi-part models, or at least a few different poses available, for my infantry.
It is less problematic to have monopose necron than monopose tyranids, though, I concur.

While the idea has merit, i'm not sure about that; because :
1. We wouldn't be as free to base on square base, strip base, round base as we are with individual miniature.
2. While each base would be more natural, we'd finally need a LOT of different bases model or be stuck with every stand looking the same...

That could very well be a very interesting idea; ideally it would have to be metal so as to remain somewhat bendable.
I think a company did sell some 6mm basic infantry skeleton armature some years ago... I forgot who.

Dark Eldar Evil S&M Loving Space Elves are indeed on the way. Don't expect the clean lines of Otterware. Almost all of what you will be able to get is built on the back of my own army. In fact, I have sacrificed vast portions of it for Stormtrooper's replication purposes.

The idea is not just to have a few things here and there. We are working on a complete (or nearly complete) line. My guess is it will be done well before Christmas.

I'd also like to point out that concept art - from simple sketches all the way to fully inked prints can help to motivate people. Just like Jonluke was motivated to start working on the tomb stalker based on some fan drawings he saw.

When I started thinking about making my eldar objectives, I scoured all the official references I owned, and basically stole details from numerous sources. Fan art can be great sources for this type of inspiration.

So, don't be shy if you have some - post away with that fan art.
