As the Topic states, are there any rules set up for "non-Imperial" Squats and / or mid/post Heresy non-Chaos Traitor Marines?

For Example. Squats can't use Rhinos or Land Raiders, Praetorians must be represented differently, and using Titans like the War golems here http://www.scotiagrendel.com/Products/i ... 20a&page=2 .

Secondly, Would the Optional pre-heresy list in the "AA" book be "beefy" enought to handle a modern more filled out Army list?

As for the War Golem - it looks like a pure CC monster. Knowing squats for being slow(er), that thing should get shot up real quick - it is fantasy based and that is where it belongs.

I think you have the basis of your own Squat house rule army there....pick one of the clan lists and outlaw any imperial tech.

Sorry, the Wargolems looks hokey and dont really fit the Squat theme at all. Maybe you could proxy them in to a Chaos Squat force....the Mk II Nemesis looks nicely chaotic.

What's a non-Chaos traitor marine?

It's rare, but not every Marine Chapter declared Excommunicate Traitoris is in league with the Chaos Gods. Some of those do then turn to Chaos as a means of survival, but others, like the Flame Falcons, Knights of Blood, Relictors and Soul Drinkers remain untainted, even though still abandoned/hunted by the Imperium.
