Like a heavy weapon team for infantry?

Hmmm if there would be a 6mm WW2 Russian Maxim Gun with the gun replaced by Manchurian Twin Stubbers...hmm....the weapon team itself would be Baran gun crew.

Sorry, wasn't being flippant, merely making a poorly recieved joke about the general spikyness of the dark eldar! If you had shown me a pile of pins (http://photo-fun.wiltshire.net/threads/ ... rp_034.jpg) I wouldn't have been surprised.

The models are great, indeed the whole concept of people making these things themselves for fun constantly astounds me.

Good for you guys - those Nasty Space Elves you've made look pretty damn good!=. I'll look forward to seeing 'em assembled and painted. What are your plans for colour schemes etc.?

Those DE look great. I especially like the look of the flyers. Any chance you can list out what you've created?

I recommend Stormtrooper make a new topic for his DE proxies. The topic of this thread is general discussion of proxies.

To get this back onto topic, another thing that I would actually like to see is some heavy weapons for the IG (not the one-piece horrors that Granny sells). These could include a few different weapon styles perhaps which plug into a crewed carriage / platform?

I would love to have heavy weapons back as loose figs that I can use as I wish, rather than be saddled with a set size 'diorama' piece.

I just love infantry.

And i think a lot of the infantry we got is very sub par compared to nowadays standards. And many models are quite outdated compared to current designs. Efforts have been made, but quite a few models are still lacking or in bad need of an update, if only for the sake of variety.

I'd like some accessory/bitz sprue, with various weapons, ammo crates, oil drums, generators, field radio, field command post, etc... stuffs I'd be glad to have when building scenic bases, terrains and diorama, rather than having to scratch-build everything. a popular subject seems to be skulls, on that topic, for chaos bases and themed terrain, and i'd give my first born to anyone making some nice tyranid themed accessories and bitz for terrain.

Any effort in that direction, allowing customization / conversion / detailing of models and terrain would be very welcome.

do you mean more than is shown here?

The tanks chassis are still available from FW, so we just need turrets.

Plus, there are all the kroot things still unmade.

I think individual terrain bits would be pretty fiddly, but stacks of crates or drums would work fairly well. Infact, I'd suggest that if someone was looking to start making models, those would be a good place to start.

I also agree that most infantry need an update (gaurdians with the 40k 3rd Ed backpacks would rock), although, for the record, I'm against multi-part infantry. The 28mm multiparts are frustrating enough, I think 6mm versions would drive me crazy.

The old infantry are looking more than a little dated, I'd agree.

For some reason, this made me think of those snap-fit starter 28mm models GW sell – y'know the ones; two part versions of the standard troops, with plug-in guns.

You're not going to like project T then.
