Tickets went on sale today, and 40K is already sold out! Get your tickets fast to ensure 40K don't steal any tables from epic!

Well there is a particulr kind of mania you have to subscribe to I think. All those months of planning and list construction before you can finally demonstrate how you won before a shot was fired!

I think the fact you can go to any GW or independent club and find someone that will play is the real answer.

Really? Every club I've been to has been wargame orientated, seeing people play 40k would be the exception not the norm. Plus alos maybe there are fewer older 40k players about any more and clubs in pubs and stuff tend to have an older crowd?

One local(ish) club is very ancient oriented but when a newbie came along wanting to play 40K a few players brought out armies. They are trying to introduce the new boy to a real game but didn't get bent out of shape when asked for 40K.

It's like Michael bay movies... Stupid fun always sells better than something that requires a switched-on brain.

I intend to come, other factors permitting.

With 40K sold out and fantasy half full I'd get your epic ticket before the 1st Cmpy Vets start allocating Epic tables to other systems.

Don't say I didn't warn you!

Realistically end of the month, early September. It has sold out the last 4 times and if it does sell slowly tables will be taken away to feed the massive demand for 40K tickets.

5 of the 20 tickets available have sold, but 40K is sold out and Fantasy is over half full too.

Since I'm now looking to come to the tournament next month in Mansfield, I won't be attending this Open War anymore.

Two from Norwich will be there again. Eldar and Chaos this time I think.
