Hi...after long time i finaly get some miniatures and found time to do some painting. iam now experimenting with some color schemes and i would like to know your opinion on what scheme seems to be the right one

Honestly, some better lighting would help a lot.

I think I might like the white one, but I think the images are too dark to see clearly.

Also, could you embed the images please? It's faster than clicking on links and you may get a better response!

ok...new day brought new light and i made some better pics. so which color scheme seems best? i like the "space wolves" variant but i cannot decide

The White Scars variant one looks good to me. Plus, you don't see White Scars armies very often, so it'd be quite novel to see them done like that.

Good level of painting too BTW - especially for test models!

Either the white or the brown.

hmmmm.....poll sounds like a good idea but its too late. unles i start a new topic but i dont think it is sooo important hehehe. i just want some opinions from others becouse i canot decide myself

i like the grey variant and as elsmore said, it is very close to my painting style. but the white variant is more striking, more visible on battlefield. the blue variant is very good for painting details, but it looks too cartoony and the brown variant is....is....i dont know, i just kinda like it

About the colour scheme, I think I like the grey and the white ones better.

I would be concerned about the brown not being able to receive weathering/battle damage too well, and you seem to manage the white quite well (not the easiest colour in my book).

Your grey is quite convincing too, and it's been a long time I haven't seen a grey marine scheme, and I always liked grey marines.

yes i know, it is almost imposible (for me) to do any battle damage and weathering on the brown variant....the white is nice, but it dont look very realistic, thats why i like the grey one

ok...thanks for your opinions. after this and some chat with friends back home i decided to start the "grey marines". dont know name of the chapter right now
