The Tyranid book is pretty much good to go.

There is however still a couple of units I'm having trouble with, namely the "Home brew" ones.

If we cannot get any pictures of home made scratch builds I can attempt to photoshop something together if someone can give me an idea what these things are supposed to look like.

1) Rippers: Anyone got an old SM1 Nurgling base they could paint up in some tyranid-ish colors? Alternatively just a nurgling base that I can try and adjust the colours on in Photoshop?

2) Zoats: These guys are supposed to be sort of frog like? How about the Command Horizon Centaurs? Or more nid-like: The DRM Skyth? (I know IP is an issue, but uhm... just don't tell anyone...

3) Carnifex - Trying to get hold of E&C for that one. Already got the larger razorfex, but E&Cs model fits the bill for the regular Carnifex better.

4) Brooder: What the heck is this? I got an image of something worm-like, but... An old round mouth Ripper on a trygon body perhaps? Again: If anyone actually got one of these scratch built, it would be a tremendous help...

I have a couple of D&D swarm bases I could photograph.

Zoats are Centaur-like, so you could proxy a good looking one out of a Tyranid Warrior and a Rough Rider. I use some Eureka/Irregular Centaurs but they're not so hot, and have the IP issue. I can photograph them if you're desperate.

I have the little E40K Carnifexes.

Brooder - I'm pretty sure these were a use for the Necromunda Milliasaurs.

E&C did also model some rippers a few years back to go on the Malanthrope's base, he might be able to dig them out.

I have a great idea for a zoat. How quick do you need it? Not really familiar with NetEpic Tyranids, are Zoats supposed to be 1/base or several. Also, I have some old Rippers. I could paint one up as a "Brooder". I intend to use them as burrowing Raveners anyway.
