I see them O-man, perhaps they are hiding with Mosc's legs?

I meant to take photos last week over the weekend but never got the chance. Anyway, there wasn't a whole lot of progress so you weren't missing much. Here's what I've been working on lately though.

My last 4 Dreadnoughts, 2 more of the standards plus 2 Multi-Melta versions (FF5+ with MW maybe?). I've got to highlight the black and then do the metal and bases so these guys might be finished next week.
Image

This was going to be the last of my characters but I want to do two Librarians as well now. They need the same work the Dreads need so should be done next week too. I've also decided to re-paint my Chaplains on bikes and give them black armor so they're getting touched up now too.
Image

Here's some various Ork conversions I'm working on. The Supa-Zzap gun is from the SM/TL Ork sprue, and the Stompa pinchy arms and Lobba turret from the E40k Ork wagon sprue. I need to figure out what I'm going to do for the Stompa big gun arm.
Image

And finally, a side project. I believe these are called Ragnaruss? What do you guys think of the paint scheme?

So THATS where the pincer arms went! :P Good to know they got used well.

I like the Ragnaruss colors. Is it assembled from the metal components or from recasts?

Heh, ya. Any of the Gunwagon bits that were clipped off went/are going towards the Stompas and Lobbas.

The Rags are original metal, I got 6 of them for $3 each off of a guy on TMP. Beats $25 for 3 :P. The turrets I had spare, need to find one more though.

Another late update as I got to do some work Friday night but didn't have any internets over the weekend.

Here's a start on my Storm Boyz. They're SM/TL Madboyz with a Battletech Salamander battlesuit SRM glued onto their backs.
Image

I'm planning to have half of them in the air, hence the brass wire. Here's a closeup of the rockets.
Image

Here's my Big Guns, along with Zzap Oddboy Upgrades. For Lobbas I'm planning on using Griffon mortars and for the Soopa Gun Oddboyz maybe the guns I took off of my Stompas.
Image

Here's a pic of my finished Lander base. It made its debut this weekend and was promptly crited before it got to off load. Unfortunately I didn't read the crit section and so the Artillery company it landed in didn't take any hits from its destruction :P.
Image

And here's my Chaplains. I finished repainting the guys on the bikes too, just forgot to grab them for the picture. Looking at them now I'm thinking they need some skull helmets.

The Ork building and priming continues this week.

First up are my prepped Storm Boyz, complete with many careening, flying Orks.
Image

Here's a close-up. I drilled a bit into the rocket pack and glued them to the tips of the wires.
Image

Also, here's some yellowafied Big Gunz. All I have left for infantry now are my Kommandos.
Image

Here's what I worked up for the Stompas big gun arm. It's the lower part from its chainsaw arm and a cannon from the dual cannon turret from the E40k battlewagon sprue.
Image

Finally, my completed Dreadnoughts.

Greaaat... More armies to crush the hell out of me. :)

Everything is looking good Dave - I look forward to seeing your Orks when they're completed.

That was nice, being able to take out 1/3rd of your points in one fell swoop. ;) Destroying my artillery wouldn't have changed the outcome in any case - you still stomped me as usual!

It might take awhile before it's completed. I'm looking at around 82 stands of the different types of Ork infantry. :o I'm hoping to give my airbrush a try and see if it will take care of some of the wash work for me.

I've yet to get that LC into an assault. It swooped down and blew some of Matt's Skitarii to bits along with its Destructors and Vindicators, no assault yet though.

Your bases look a bit bland. Consider some small patches of grass or maybe some larger grey rocks? They're the only part of your mini that aren't wonderful, lets them down somewhat.

The plan is to add some Woodland Scenics turf or Silfor grass tufts to the bases once they're dull coated. I've trying to get everything done and together before that happens though. Will only a few characters and the Thunderhawks left I'm hoping this army will be completed by the end of this year at the latest.

Greetings from the Conch Republic! A small update this week as only some Wartraks and GZG APCs stole away with me on vacation (the latter were on a whim after seeing Despot's excellent army of GZG vehicles). I've also been working on cleaning up some Command Horizon infantry but they're not based yet (as that will involve a bit of spackle yet).

First up are my Wartraks. I'm going to be using the Heavy Flamer variants as Scorchas, and the other 8 as Wartraks. They'll be based and yellowified this Monday when I get back, hopefully.
Image

And here are some of the GZG APCs I brought down with me. The bases are my cheap alternative to litko bases. They're Evergreen Scale Models 1/4" Sidewalk (easier to score thanks to the pre-scored lines) and some sticky-backed magnetic sheeting I picked up at Michaels for $6.
