I would call it the "Marauder Heavy Bomber" instead of just "Marauder Bomber", if extra clarity is needed.

The only problem is that the background describes the FW-sized Marauder as a medium bomber, implying there's an even bigger Heavy bomber that doesn't yet have a model.

It is already noted as being of a different "pattern" to the small Marauder.

You're right, in that unit stats that are unique to the Death Korps should be clearly marked so in the NetEA document.

Could you please list which units have different stats from the Steel Legion "base" units?

Sounds like a plan. Which pattern did you go for? I was going to suggest calling it the Cypra Mundi pattern as that's the Forge World listed in Imperial Armour I as making it (though likely lots would) but then SG went and screwed the notion or treating their plane as a different pattern up by also calling theirs the Cypra Mundi pattern.

P.S. is the latest version around somewhere by the way? Or will we have to wait for the printed copy now?

Not currently, looking at getting the hosting sorted.

Shadowsword, Stormsword, Marauder are all listed by "base" names on page 48 but are not the units printed in the IG NetEA document.

So...Krieg are best in Assault, eh? Ive been statting up, well, static lines with them, with a few mobile elements to counter-charge enemy units who get too close to the Krieg lines, and for taking objectives late in the game.

With so many awesome 0cm artillery units, I couldnt help but think defensively. This is why losing any type of shooting attack sucks so hard - you cant use a 20-strong Infantry Company to be Part 1 of a double tap with Rough Riders. OK, thats not 100% accurate, since Commander and Supreme Commander units get ranged guns, but thats 1 of 10 dice that could have been thrown. 10 dice is NEVER bad :) But yea, neither are cheaper, larger formations. I'll try it.

When playing defensive, you can put your Krieg in trenches, and then Engage any enemies that come near... and behind your trenchlines you can have artillery and AA guns, meaning the enemy are going to have to come towards you if they want to stop you shelling them!

So the defensive style list forces the enemy to come to you!

Is there a compelling reason not to have them the same?

Shadowsword?

The DK one has the same armament as is on the FW model (Ie: It's the modern version as also depicted in Warhammer 40,000, not statted based off of the E:40k model).

T'is a very minor change.

Is there a compelling reason that the Shadowsword shouldn't be armed as it's Wh40k counterpart (= Twin Heavy Bolters instead of generic Heavy Bolters)?

The Epic FW Shadowsword clearly has Twin-lined Heavy Bolter sponsons.

And for details on the models i follow the superior FW models than the inferior and to small GW/SG ones.

One reason for my standing issues with the Thunderbolt too.

I'd much rather see all shadowswords get twin HBs to match the FW model and 40k. This is exactly the sort of thing that makes us look backwards.

Indeed.
