There are some pages from the book on the Black Library site ... but I have heard very little about it otherwise ...

IIRC it's released in December. I'll take a look at it and see what it's like whenever it gets up here.
As a side note: GW has invented a new distribution policy. Instead of retailers ORDERING White Dwarfs they now must wait for GW to send them. Result: for the first time the WD shipment is LATE. Strange thing is that this worsening of service for independent stockists seems to "coincide" with the fact that nowadays there is a GW store open in Helsinki...

I also remember 4 of 5...
4 Gobsmashas in a blister, when a Space Marine unit was of 5....
same with Dark Elf Dark Riders a few years later.
At least they're working their way out of this phase.
