He's got to be called Jimmy Duratne (check Jimmy Durante and you'll see why)

Cycloxxus, Lord of the Rathause?

Shouldn't it be Rattehaus ?

If anything, it should be Rattenhaus ;D

(Because it's the house of the rats a.k.a. Haus der Ratten a.k.a. Rattenhaus).

Great work, though I keep wondering what's so fascinating about the german language for english speaking people.

Because we share so many words & have inherent jealousy of the German ability to form words like Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz. ;D

The prince came out great (as expected) and the GUO conversion really stands out. Yo ushould give that old GUO a retrofit that brings him in line with your other outstanding models. ;)

As for a name other than Fat Bob, my vote is for Naeglerius Foulair which is a slight step sideways from Naegleria fowleri, the brain eating amoeba.

According to Wikipedia:
Quote:
literally Cattle marking and beef labeling supervision duties delegation law... The name is an example of the virtually unlimited compounding of nouns that is possible in many Germanic languages. German orthography uses “closed” compounds, concatenating nouns to form one long word. This is unlike most English compounds, which are separated using spaces or hyphens.

So, in other words, Germans have no need of any punctuation or spacing in their noun compounds.

I like both of them Naegleria Fowleri sounds like he's a Italian Capo, which is quite cool... Naeglerius Foulair also works really well..

Just looking at things, I will at some stage want to field my Nurgle as Lost and the Damned, but looking at the list it looks like I will need about 5 covens of Cultists/Mutants.. I was thinking something like

Stigmatus Covenant Coven (cultists) [200] + 8 Cultists [120] + 11 Chimeras [275] + 2 Hydras [100] + Daemon Prince (725)
Stigmatus Covenant Coven (mutants) [200] + 4 Big Mutant Upgrades [80] + 8 Land Transporters [80] (360)
Stigmatus Covenant Coven (mutants) [200] + 6 Land Transporters [60] + 2 Hounds [20] (280)
Stigmatus Covenant Coven (cultists) [200] + 4 Fire Support [100] + Hydra [50] (350)
Stigmatus Covenant Coven (cultists) [200] + 6 Land Transporters [60] + 2 Hydras [100] (360)

Contagion Towers (325)
Contagion Towers (325)
Sentinels (100)
Plague Zombie Infestation (175)

Though annoyingly can't fit any daemons in it.. any other suggestions as I haven't messed around with the list much. Can anyone suggest a army that fits in a Great Unclean One maybe.

Managed to finish another 4 Plague Bearer stands which takes me up to 10 which should be enough for most 3k armies. They don't 100% match the original 6, but I don't think it's that noticable, or to be honest matters as they are Daemons... As I've had out my original ones, I noticed that the slime on them didn't look quite right.. they were one of the first few models I painted when I started up again with Nurgle and the slime looked very 2D so I've put on another couple of layers of slightly tinted water effect. Hopefully this will inprove the situation.

I've also started working on my first 3 Chaos Spawn, as they are 1 a coven in the LatD list 3 might well be enough.. Though I might well do another 2 as some point as they are fun.

Finished another 4 Plaguebearers.... After everything they don't stick out too much against the original ones.

I've been messing around with my varient Vindicators today and painting up the Chaos Spawn. Also I managed to find 3 more Hellblades... YAY, didn't even know I had them.

Astounding artwork!

It is amazing how much conversion work a Nurgle army allows.
This thread is a total inspiration and your creativity is a joy to watch.
The Nurgle artillery is particularly fantastic to me (I'd love to do something similar one day).

Finished the construction on the Vindicators, they came out so much better than I though they would. I was originally going to mount the gun lower, but it looked too much like a pancake. Mounting it higher allowed me to build up the housing which gave me more room for chaos detailing.
