The problem increases exponentially with the more models you own. Someone should look into this and produce some theories as to where these miniatures go!

Don't you know that socks are sacrificed to the Clothes Dryer God?

Uh  ...clearly the socks are either consumed by the Eater of Socks (Discworld) or migrate to a planet similar to the one where lost Biros live (Hitchhikers Guide)

Dobbsy, as you can see I think we've all been there! I had a Warlord MkII "disappear into the Warp" for nearly two years only to turn up in my Artbin box right where I had left it...and the Chaos gods just kept laughing at me from the Warp--I swore I was losing my mind. I hope yours show up--keep the faith!

Ah, good :)
We're moving house, and I can tell you that many strange and unusual things are surfacing, and I'm confident that more will appear. My greatest hope lies in finding hidden somewhere an Imperial Dropship (I never owned one!).

It's not a dropship, but I recently found the 37th of 36 dice in one of my Chessex blocks... it confused me.

Congratulations (was it in a really weird place??). I have found and Ironbreaker from WHFB inside a shoe box.

Through the years I've learned to be very specific with labeling boxes, especially as I switch from two-three systems per year and several armies per system. Despite all that there are still times where I will loose stuff (even though my models never leave one room!). At the end of hours of tearing apart boxes under the game table and around the game room I will surface, sweaty and wild-eyed with my prize finally in hand. ::)

Wow. Almost 3 months later. Please share, as well as any pictures that may make you look like Malakai :)

For some inexplicable reason it was sitting on the back of an old tv stand that hand been put into the garage. The box cover for a patio heater had been stood on it's side and was resting across the front of the shelf - blocking my view. The wierd thing is that at no point do I even remember going anywhere near that part of the garage.

Yeah, I've done stuff like that before. You put something in an unusual spot and when you go looking for it you don't even bother looking there.
