I was wondering if what i have heard is true:
I remember reading somewhere (can't recall where) that apparentaly all of the Blood Angels terminaters were killed exploring a Space Hulk
I was wondering because if it is true it would leave the Blood Angels quite underpowered as isn't terminater armour very old and cannot be replaced or something like that
Could someone tell me if it's true or not

Some of them may have been killed, but as far as I know, the BAs still have Terminators ! And always will ... Great Avatar too, looks like the Predator models on the Copplestone site ... very nice !

Good i think Blood Angels are the best Chaptor with the whole going crazy thing I think there fluff i quite entertainig to read
Like theres a section of fluff where the blood angels where fighting a chaos army which had a Bloodthrister in it
and something happened like the high priest got him arm cut off sp threw some blood of sanginaruis (not sure if thats spelt right) and death company went psycho they all jumped on the bloodthirster and tore it to pieces!!!!!!!
I mean come that is impressive

I think that you are refering to an episode in Space Hulk. The Vengeance of the Blood Angels was set after an incident where all of the Blood Angel terminators had been killed on a Hulk. However, I took this to mean all of the terminators which were sent to the Hulk, not all of the terminators of the Chapter.
Besides, having the entire first company knocked out didnt set the Ultra Marines back too badly!

They do in my fluff - not to give things away but the 'angelic' BA primarch takes a tumble when Horus kills him. The Blood Angels are tainted - they just are too strong willed to let Chaos take them, and yes they are a vampire legion.

Hi!
I dislike most SM chapters beyond the Ultramarines, mainly because all the other ones have some "gimmick" to make them better or different. Space wolves are the worst, I think they are pure cheddar. Blood angels aren't so bad though, the death company rule is okay and not really unbalancing. The DA are another chapter I dont mind, their only difference being ravenwing in epic and thats just an additional company, not special rules.

Primarch, dude, don't confuse rules with background. it is quite a mistake to do so IMO. I for one like the rules for the ultras and other stuff but I hate the ultramarines with all my soul in the background.
If I go for the rules I think some of those chapters are cheddar, right, but if we talk background I like the background of some of those et al.
But on the other hand I prefer chapter that sometimes LOSE an engagement. The first founding chapters have the bad tendency of not having lost a battle in 10 millenia.... something to consider. THAT is cheese. No one is _that_ perfect no matter who leads or stops to lead the chapter. Marines are ok fighters, but in the background having a marine chapter there grants victory. This is what I cannot stand at all. The same with perfect chapter masters, that are the best in... everything. They have no weaknesses. Come on man. Following those premises I am designing a chapter that basically is fucked up and has lost some important engagements, even against weaker or paired opponents. *That* is what makes for an interesting background for me Even the best lose sometimes.
As a side note, you should be adding a zero to any piece opf fluff about marines I write. I kept the GW number of 1000 dudes per chapter, but find it to be so moronic that I always think about my chapter being division strong (?): 12k-17k marine strong + support
Cheers,
Xavi

Generally speaking we keep away from special rules for SM Regts., save for a few. ?The 40K rules in that aspect are as goofy as the rest of rules. ?I agree with Xavi, the SMs units should be larger. ? And we don't refer to them as "Chapters" but as Regiments which are military units not a chapter which reminds me of old ladies baking cookies for orphans ! ?More G/W stupidity !

Well a Regt. is 3-4 Bns, and a Bn , has 3-4 Cos. And 3 Regts make a Div. So G/W could have come up with something better than a 1000 man "Chapter" ...

And now L4 will be kind enough to tell us, non military dudes, what the hell is a Bn a Cos etc etc, because I have been completely lost there. In fact I don't even have a damn idea of what is the size of each of those units, even if I recall reading somewhere about a certain army (I knowe the sizes change from country to country) that a regiment is 800 dudes, right?
Health and a lot of sixes,
Xavi
