E&C,

That's a very good point; like Rug says it's nice to have fresh eyes looking.

I've asked Mephiston to look at altering the site so watch this space.

Thanks again

Matt

***and the names of the EPICUK events never give out the location of the event. This came up when MoK was planning his event IIRC, and it's why it was named the 'Bristol Winter Warmer' and not just the 'Winter Warmer'.

That was intentional; all WFB and 40K tournaments we know use the city name in their title. for example:

Sheffield Slaughter
Merseyside Meltdown
Bristol Brawl
etc etc

EPIC UK wanted a different angle, that's all.

Thank you

With the calls for other lists to be allowed at a tournament for testing purposes and to get some feedback(Gavin's London event).

Does anyone able to make it to the Sunday Gaming Day fancy having a mini tourney where other lists are allowed. We don't have to run a serious event just follow the tournament guidelines and hopefully get a few games in with some developing lists.

It'd be nice if these Epic-UK tournament threads ever mentioned where the tournament is taking place. It's hardly inviting to newcomers to just assume that everyone will know.

Page with maps of all the current known Epic tournament locations can now be found here.

MoK, if you can send me the post code of the venue for the winter warmer I can add that too.

I like how you presumed I'd be reading this Dave! Anyway give BS1 6SW a whirl and that should help.
As many may know i'm off to work in Oz for a few months or more but If i'm back by january next year then I hope to run something again: if not I know EdgarSan and others from the Southwest Slaughterers such as GlynG are interested in running something whilst I'm away...all I want to know is who will the UK tourney circuit replace me and my stream of double 1's for activations with?!?

I'm sure Gavin can cope with that.

I'd be up for that.

In that case I happily pass on my mantle...

Just 4 weeks left to get you tickets, and a 1/3rd of the tickets are already gone.
