The couple of times I've asked for guitar string in a music shop, the guy at the counter asked me 'electric or acoustic?'  And I stood there flapping my mouth in confusion.

Nice work!  Great colour scheme.  The group shot looks particularly impressive.

Love the Iron Warriors and the Necrons, fantastic stuff!

I see you and I have done our Hvy/Destroyers the same way. It looks great and your colourscheme is different. I like it a lot.

Looking forward to seeing more  :agree:

What Rhinos? Perhaps you mean Non-ordered Nashorns?

The Non-ordered Nashorns were created with Chaos symbols on them.

I found them in a used bicycle shop in Cairo. They're made of old, used cereal packets.

I know not about that which you speak, unless you are referring to the little baby worm sweaters bunched on the topside of the vehicle.  :p

Had some time this morning to do an IW Terminator command stand (organizing and mounting for my own rules). Looks better on the tabletop... my new camera has so much better resolution than the old one, I usually end up doing touch-ups after taking pics.

Fantastic armies. I love the guitar string idea for the Wraiths. Fact is, I was pondering what to use this very morning. Inspirational work and painting.

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments so far!

Finished up some Terminators and Havocs yesterday, and flocked the vehicle bases to match:

Right about the time I needed a break from painting infantry, a little package showed up in my mailbox with some vehicles:

Vindicators:

Land Raiders:

Still on the painting table: 8 Predators, 6 Dreadnoughts, 20 bases of infantry, 4 leader/sorcerer bases.
Still in transit: Hellblades, Helltalons, and Baneblades.
Still needed: Obliterator conversions (forthcoming from... somewhere, in the next few weeks), Raptor conversions, and possibly some Furies.

Chaos Undecided: whether or not to build a Chaos Titan Legion, using some walking robots from various sources :p, including some of the DRM Andrayada walkers, as the basis for conversions. Maybe small World Eaters, Death Guard, and Emperor's Children contingents as well (lots of unused troops, demons and SM-era Chaos sprues) for a Black Legion force. Haven't decided on this, as Word Bearers would also be a good use for the models I already have.

Necrons: Received my EW Edenite infantry, which is all mounted and primed (38 warrior bases, 6 flayed ones bases, 12 Immortals, and 10 Pariahs), and have been informed that my Obelisks are in transit.  :agree:

Been working on the Necrons as well, finishing 12 bases of Immortals, 10 bases of Pariahs, and 6 bases of Flayed Ones:

Pariahs:

Immortals:

Flayed Ones:

Thirty-eight bases of Warriors and eight Obelisks to go... and I'll post some better close-up pics over the weekend.
