Dave, Carrington, and Dwarf Supreme formed up as Adeptus Ineptus, the team from the north and the farthest travelled.

So does that give me the "chopped liver" award for most easily forgotten participant?  :p

You were not forgotten, just your pseudonym mixed up.  Although I'd give you the Chopped Liver ribbon anyway, just because I care.

I can see the NEAT tournament turning into a something ugly.  Everytime team members from different groups are pitted against each other, they'll be betting chips on the side.  A competition within a tournament wrapped inside an Epic enigma...  Weeeeee!

I'll take it! (I'm pretty sure I ran away with that one in epicomp as well)
Look at me, I'm on top of the world!!!

yes it was a great time, especially for ronsandt it would seem, judging by the picture. too bad we couldn't get any of his tear filled acceptance speech on here, "first i'd like to thank the emperor for making this all possible."
looking forward to the next event.

hey you would have been excited too if you used the TAU to win 2 games. not easy by anymeans. and yes i due hold the right to the speach CUZ i had the balls to bet more than one chip in a game to bring team P.A. out on top. now it was not all me that made team P.A on top. MATT #1 won his 2 games with the dreaded NECRONS . and CAMERON won his first tourney game too. well BILL what can you say he was all doped up but still got a win.As for matthemuppet AT LEAST YOU HAD DICE TO PLAY WITH, you could always BUY your own. HAHA. WELL it was a grate day and hopfully well all meet up for the next game day for some more fun.

Ron gets really schizoid during his games.  He goes from being on top of the world to sounding like Eeyore.

"There goes my game."
"YEAH! BABY! YOU'RE GOING DOWN!"
"Oh, I guess that's the end for me."
"KaBLAM!  You might as well SUR-REN-DER!"  :O

It's hilarious!

I received word from Robert, the absentee Disorderly.  He's already making excuses about not coming up to PA in April.  They must be slipping estrogen into the drinking water down in Maryland.

Tau vs. Tyranids.  I guess the (most) painted armies do win more.  Not that it helped me much... :glare:

yeah yeah yeah, you only told me afterwards that they were such terrible dice that you bought a new set to replace them with. See, that's how you won with Tau, kept all the good dice to yourself. Hmmph.

As for buying stuff, what's that all about? Do I need money?

I think playing with a bunch of cross-eyed Guardsmen falling haphazardly out of planes is probably what did it...

Most likely.  Parachuting and Robitussin don't mix I keep telling them.

It was my own fault.  I set up poorly against Dave and then, just to make it easier on him, I teleported my Support Sentinels into range of his Whirlwinds for turn 1.  Poof!  They were gone.
