Nice Aussie A-26,Zap !  Or is it B-26 !?!   :agree:

It's definitely not a B-26. When I first looked at it I thought it was an A-20, but it could be an A-26.

Hey MoK, you may want to update your .sig. :)

Done :-)

Right: started work on E&C's Small Walking Robots now. Still trying to decide what Legio to paint them up as but know that I'm going to go for a realistic weathered look otherwise: that means a bit of grease, oil, dust, wear and tear where need be :-)

Started work on the metallics today.  I've only just started using the citadel washes and am testing out whether Badab Black is any better than my usual mix of Chaos Black, Water and Washing Up Liquid (so far I don't think it is!)

Anyway: some pictures..

Basecoated 50/50 Black and Boltgun, highlights applied with a small amount of dryburshing before selective highlghts by hand

Badab Black Applied (not enough shade for my liking, may add another wash.

Will get some grease and stuff on all the pistons next.

Comments and crit welcome.

In all fairness though the pictures don't really show any of the highlighting details

Not Epic but I've recently finished the orc warlord seen a few posts ago: he can be seenHere:-)

Not sure if there'll be much more in epic updates from here on in though: all this flying to Oz is making it a little hard to get projects finished in time though I might take the warhounds with me.

Lovely work on the SWR. A nice deep blue would work well I think. Legio Astorum perhaps?

Hope you enjoy your time Down Under. With any luck our country won't kill you

Well Well whadda we have here...could it be a poorly lit photo of a new Big Blitz Brigade with Zzap Gun Oddboys, converted Flakwagons ready to attempt to take the Epic UK Grand Tournament by storm this weekend?
Image
Why! Yes...it can be!

For those that haven't realised I'm back from Oz now and have finally settled back in Bristol...Whilst away I painted some dark elves:

Got tattooed:

And rode around a small part of Oz on equivalent to the size of the UK for six weeks:
Image
The low quality picture above is due to me 'forgetting' (just too stoned...) my camera under a palm tree on a sunny beach one day but I'll be working hard to rectify the lack of camera in the long run.

For now I'll be focusing on just finishing off some of the gaps in my Epic collection of mini's that aren't painted yet: so we've still got to finish off those 2 SWR's from above, paint the last remaining ork stuff, do up some eldar war walkers and finish off a small batch of tyranid gaunts and carnifex's in time for Bristol Winter Warmer...

After that I've still got a Black Legion Army that needs painting...

and THEN...I think you'll find come january a certain well know UK based 6mm model manufacturer releases some futuristic trench infantry models which will go perfectly with the large collection of otter and evilware that i've been given by friends these past few months: I'm pretty certain that they'll make EXCELLLENT proxies as a several new imperial guard armies...;-)

Glad to be back btw...,
Yrs,
R>
